Flash Fiction – Goal (100 Words)

It’s the thing you’ll work towards. The end achievement. The thing that is worth all the blood and the sweat and the tears. It’s the thing that gets you up in the morning when you’re already tired. It’s the thing that makes you push further, push harder, go beyond the boundaries of what you think you know.

It’s also the thing that gives you clarity when nothing else does. It’s the thing that helps you avoid slights and jabs. The thing that allows you to brush off problems because they don’t matter. They’re not your goal.

But before you can do any of that, before you can work towards it or you can brush off those remarks, you have to believe in yourself.

So.

Do you believe in yourself?

Do you think you can do it?
