“Come on then,” Trev smiled as Pepper jumped on the doormat excitedly, her paws getting tangled with her long ears and gangly legs. She was still very much a puppy, and very much excitable.
The idea of a walk was enough to make any dog run for the door, but it was the ball and thrower that Trev held in his hand that really made Pepper go bananas.
“You wanna go play fetch?” He said.
Pepper barked, jumping up and then falling over her ears again.
Trev smiled.
“I’ll take that as a yes then.”
