Teacup Stories

Acquisition without Permission – It wasn’t really theft, Ellya figured. More like a bit of Acquisition without Permission. And for payment. Lots of Payment. (Genre – Fantasy, Genre – Action, Rating – 12)

And so the stars, they die – yes, it is true that even the stars will die (Rating: PG, Genre: General, Genre: introspection).

Anxiety – Eva looked out on the battlefield below, and she felt fear overtake her. (Genre – Fantasy, Genre – General, Genre – Action, Rating – 15, Warnings – Language)

Boredom – Kelsey hated being bored, more than anything else. She would rather be out there killing zombies (Rating: T, Warnings: Violence).

City Life – Evan would sit on his sofa in the evening, and listen to the city outside go by (Genre – General, Rating – PG)

Dance – Pippa’s favourite thing to do on a Friday night was to dance. (Genre – General, Rating – PG)

Desperation – Alice Lightgreen is on the hunt for a murderer who always evades her grasp. (Genre – Mystery, Genre – Action, Rating – 15, Warnings – Swearing)

I’m Here – Fey didn’t want to accept the inevitable, that she would not have her husband forever. (Rating- 12, Genre – Sci Fi, Genre – Romance)

Innocent – A child was the most innocent of any human. (Genre – General, Genre – Children, Rating: PG)

Life – Sometimes the most complex of stories do not have to be long.

Lighter – Maria played the piano to escape from the memories of her past. (Genre – Gen, Rating – PG)

Nature of Wishes – Sometimes, you can wish for the future, but it doesn’t mean that is the way the future will be. (Rating – PG, Genre – General)

New Sofas – On balance, a holiday wasn’t as important as a new sofa. (Genre – General, Genre – Romance, Rating – PG)

Shot to the Head – Phevra fought the Afterlifes with her trusty Matilda and a bottle of vodka. It was all a girl needed in life. (Rating: 15, Genre – Fantasy, Sci Fi, Action, Warnings – violence).

Small Moments – Lil and Kial try a new recipe for dinner. (Rating: PG, Genre: General)

The Kayla Breeze – The night before the battle for Captaincy of the ship, Owett watched the stars. (Genre – Sci Fi, Genre – Action, Rating – 12)

The Small Things – The world is full of so many events that go unnoticed. But that doesn’t mean they are not as important. (Genre – General, Rating – PG)

This Occasion – Casey wrote about how hard journeys were, and how determined she was to climb her mountains. (Rating: PG, Universe: Diary of Casey Macford, Genre: General)

Time –  It passes by, and you don’t have much left of it. (Genre – General, Rating – PG)

Thoughts of Colours – Each colour represents certain thoughts. (Genre – General, Rating – PG)

Walking Forwards – Sometimes it is so hard to put one foot in front of the other (Genre – General, Genre – Rating 12)


A tree with lush green leaves – Casey Macford ponders how mere words could change reality.

Believe – a story about the essence of belief.

Bevra’s Gift – Loa had the potential to Shift, to take another creature’s form as her own. However, acquiring another creature’s form was a process that was fraught with danger, especially if your chosen Shift was that of the Griffin.

Bruise Casey Macford describes how she stood up once more after falling down.

Dancing Free – a story about Letya and her love of dancing, especially at weddings.

Doors – a story which looks at how doors are guarding the entrance to the unknown.

Doubt – a story which dissects the nature of doubt

Home –  a story about how Tell, who had never had a proper place to call home, now finding that same home once more.

Human – a story about how everyone is just the same, despite our differences, and that is what make us human.

Imagine a Garden –  Casey looks at her sadness like the night falling on a garden.

Isolation – Casey considered what the difference was between isolation and loneliness.

Life – a story which looks at the concept of life.

Mirror – a story about Casey looking into the mirror in her mind’s eye, and telling her diary what she sees there.

Moments – a story which looks at all the little tiny moments that make up our lives.

Nightmare – Amy found her nightmares more than terrifying. They hunted her, haunted her, and hounded her until she woke up.  Or at least, when she thought she had woken up.

On the Hunt – Ake and Sarah hunted down demons, creatures that walked this Earth who needed to be killed.

One Chance – Meg had failed, and now she only had one chance of redemption

Snowstorm – a piece about how you, the reader, struggle through a snowstorm.

Tales of the Dragon (Universe) – Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 – Everyone wants to overthrow their enemy. Some people have the assistance of dragons to do it.

Thank you – A story about Elise, who lies awake at night and watches her other half peacefully sleeping next to her.

Try  a story which attempts to dissect the nature of trying, again and again, to achieve a goal.
